Come in handy

Det er ei lita stund sidan eg har oppdatert her no, vart sjølvsagt sjuk med ein gong eg kom heim att. Jamvel har det vorte tid til litt strikking, slik at det vert noko til einkvar til jul. Stort sett vottar og pulsvottar.

It’s been some time sine I last updated my blog. Of course I got a week on the couch when I came bak home. However there has been time to knit some christmas presents. Mostly mittens in different forms.
Fekk òg laga noko til syster og bror min, det verka som dei fell i smak. Bror min har allereie funne ut at pulsvottane òg kan brukast som tøfler.

Made something for my sister and brother, they’ve seem to like it.

Perlervantar

Fekk ferdig eit par pulsvanter i dag. Mønseteret fann eg i boka “Perler på pulsen”. Dei tok ikkje så lang tid å lage, nytta Incagarnet frå Rauma og 2,5 pinner.

Finished a pair of “pearl-mittens” today. I’m afraid it’s a bit difficult to see the pattern. Rumours has it that my 10-years-old sister wants a pair like these in blue for Christmas. I’m not saying more…

Sunday

It’s sunday, and in one week I will be sitting on train to Bergen (hopefully doing som knitting), for my holiday. I’m will be home for about a month, which is something I’m really looking forward to now. However, before next sunday I’ve got 4 exams waiting for me. Well, I suppose there is little I can do about it…
I’m really looking forward to get back home, just doing all sorts of christmas-stuff, baking christmas cakes, making candy, knitting some gifts and meeting old friends. And not to forget, at home there is a fridge with a lot of different food, not only salami and milk.Despite preparing for my exams, here is some of my knitting this week. I don’t the blue and brown was a good match, wondering whether or not I should redo it. Any thoughts?

Ei lita hue

Fekk strikka ei lita hue i dag, vert julegåve til ein liten ven. Nytta dette mønsteret, men strikka ho i Eskimo. Framleis litt arbeid med hua som står att.

Lilla og brunt

Det vart eit par nye pulsvantar i dag. Synest fargane vart fine saman.
